Coming 5/30 - Ex Sanguine

Only two more weeks till Graveside Press’ Tiny Terrors anthology releases with my new story, Ex Sanguine.

I don’t know if you can go to Hell for a story, but if you can, I’m pretty sure this tale of an altar boy taking part in a horrific Communion will be the one that does it.

Update - And the Cat Came Back!

Just got word that we’re looking at a release date of April 18. Can’t wait.

And, while I can’t post anything yet, I’ve had an advanced look at cover art for for the story, and it’s kind of fantastic.

Will share as soon as I get the go ahead.

New story coming soon - And the Cat Came Back!

More news in the “coming soon” department. My short story, And the Cat Came Back has been accepted for publication by Graveside Press (where I’ve already got a story due out in their upcoming Tiny Terrors anthology in April.

Like Uncertainty Principles, this will be a standalone story (not part of a collection) and will be available as an both e-book and in (I think) trade paper.

This is another one I’m really excited about. It’s been kicking around in a couple of versions for at least a year and half, and I can’t wait to see it in print.

New story coming soon - Uncertainty Principles!

Just got word that I’ll have a new story out soon from Paper Angel Press, a non-horror piece called Uncertainty Principles, tentatively set to come out in April.

This will be a standalone story (not part of a collection) and will be available as an both e-book and in trade paper. At about 10k words it’s more of a “novelette” than a short story—if you pay attention to those kinds of things.

Super excited to see this one come out. The very first draft of it was somewhere back in early-to-mid ‘21. It’s been through many revisions since then, and will finally see the light of day!!!
